Manuscript Submission Guidelines
ND Digest is a high-quality, online publication providing educational content and peer-reviewed research related to the field of naturopathic and integrative gastroenterology. We publish peer-reviewed original research, reviews, commentaries, case reports, updated guidelines, and short communications.
ND Digest invites contributions that report both scholarly and clinical insights. The journal serves as a platform for reporting research findings as well as fostering dialogue and innovation among practitioners, educators, and researchers. By encouraging submissions across a range of topics and formats, ND Digest aims to cultivate a vibrant exchange of ideas that supports ongoing professional growth within the field of naturopathic gastroenterology.
General Requirements
Originality: All submissions must be the author's own original work. ND Digest does not accept previously published content or simultaneous submissions to other publications.
Relevance: Content should relate to the themes, interests, or ongoing discussions within naturopathic gastroenterology. Please consult recent issues or our website for guidance on current focus areas.
Clarity and Precision: Write concisely and clearly. Use accessible language while maintaining academic and professional rigor.
Accuracy: Fact-check all statements, cite sources appropriately, and avoid speculation or unsupported claims.
Inclusivity: ND Digest encourages contributions from all backgrounds and perspectives.
Manuscript Types and Guidelines
Formatting and Style
Document Format: Submit as .docx, .pdf, or .rtf files. Visual art may be submitted as .jpg, .png, or .tiff files.
Font and Spacing: Use Times New Roman or Arial, 12pt, double-spaced for written work.
Title and Subtitle: Include a clear, descriptive title and an optional subtitle.
References: Use footnotes or endnotes for citations; include a bibliography if appropriate.
Images: If including images, ensure captions and credits are provided. Images must not exceed 5MB each.
Author Details: Add a short bio (up to 100 words) and contact information at the end of your submission.

Include a signed copy of the Publication Agreement
Deadline: ND Digest accepts submissions year-round. For themed issues, please refer to announcements for specific deadlines.
Review Policy: All submissions are reviewed by the editorial board. Allow 4–6 weeks for a response.
Acceptance and Editing: Selected pieces may undergo editing for clarity, length, and style. Authors will have the opportunity to review and approve edits before publication.
Ethical Considerations
Plagiarism: ND Digest has zero tolerance for plagiarism. All sources must be credited appropriately.
Conflicts of Interest: Disclose any potential conflicts of interest relevant to your submission.
Privacy: Do not include private information about individuals unless you have explicit permission or the information is public domain.
Copyright: By submitting, you grant ND Digest non-exclusive rights to publish your work in print and digital formats. Copyright remains with the author.
After Submission
Acknowledgment: Authors will receive confirmation of receipt within 7 days.
Editorial Feedback: If your submission is not accepted, editorial feedback may be offered to help you refine future contributions.
Publication: Accepted articles will appear in the next available issue or on our website, depending on editorial scheduling.
